Dr. Handirk von Ungern-Sternberg
Managing Director
Handirk von Ungern-Sternberg holds a doctorate in economics from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the University of Tübingen and has extensive experience in the public sector. As a manager in a chamber of commerce, he has promoted the recruitment of skilled workers in the skilled trades sector through recruitment programs for trainees from India. Handirk was also responsible for recognition procedures for academic achievements and foreign qualifications in various public institutions.
Aditi Banerjee
Managing Director
Aditi Banerjee is an economist with a Master's degree from George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree from the elite Lady Shri Ram College in New Delhi. She is the co-founder and Managing Director of Magic Billion, the leading recruitment agency in India. Previously, Aditi worked for over twelve years in the financial sector for renowned companies and institutions, including the British Asian Trust of King Charles III, the Surgo Foundation, the Boston Consulting Group and the World Bank. Her work builds bridges between professionals from India and Western employers.

IndiaWorks is supported by an honorary advisory board with prominent personalities from associations, business, administration, education and tech.
Prior to founding Magic Billion, Basab was an expert on global skills mobility with the Government of India and NSDC, consultant to ADB, working on projects in India and Bangladesh. He developed skills strategies and headed the Standards and Quality Assurance Department at NSDC.
Hanna Böhme has been Managing Director of Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe (FWTM) since January 2018. She was previously Managing Director of the German Center operated by Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) in Singapore and before that in Beijing. The 48-year-old from Freiburg studied in Marburg, Taipei and London.
Iris Becker, an expert in German-Indian cooperation for more than 35 years, founded Let's bridge IT in 2000 and was previously a member of the management board of a software company for eight years. She runs cross-culture seminars, is a guest lecturer and has headed the German Indian Round Table in Freiburg and Karlsruhe since 2010.
Joachim "Joggi" Lederer is a pioneer in the recruitment and integration of Indian trainees for the butcher's trade. He is a sought-after speaker and is active throughout Germany for his profession. In his butcher's store in Weil am Rhein, Joggi has been successfully training international trainees for 30 years.
Sebastian Lauk is an experienced marketing executive in the B2B SaaS sector with more than 15 years of experience. He specializes in holistic marketing and the development of full-funnel strategies. He is also a sports club volunteer and is passionate about innovative technologies and sports.
